chocolate cinnamon cayenne cupcakes

stuff you need:


3 cups all purpose flour

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup cocoa powder

2 tsp baking soda

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp cayenne

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup honey

2 cups water

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp vinegar


3 cups of cream cheese icing

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp vanilla extract

what to do

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add liquid ingredients and combine. Grease or line your cupcake pan, and fill each cup about 3/4 full of batter. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Meanwhile, mix together icing, cinnamon, and vanilla. Play with your quantities of cinnamon and vanilla–you may want more of either! Ice cupcakes once they are totally cool (otherwise, you’ll disturb the cake and end up with crumbs in your icing).

This recipe yields about 24 cupcakes.
